I came across an article over at the Bibliophagist called the ABC book challenge. In this article she mentions her 5-star reads starting with a certain letter – you follow the alphabet from A-Z – and also books on the tbr starting with that specific letter. It sounds like a really fun way to showcase my favorite read books and also take a closer look at the books on my tbr.
I’ve decided to only look at my 2018 reads when talking about my 5-star reads unless there aren’t any 5 stars read to be found when it comes to a certain letter. Then I’ll highlight some of my 4 and 4.5-star reads. With 195 books I’ve read so far this year and well over 200 unread books on my shelves, there’ll definitely be enough to show you guys!
✰ 4 and 5 STAR READS STARTING WITH ‘C’
Since I haven’t read that many 5-star books starting with ‘C’,
I decided to include 4-star ratings as well.

That makes me excited to hear since I’ve only heard great things about it! Hope I’ll get around to read it soon! Thank you for the reply.

I like this challenge. You’ve read a fair few C books this year.

There were indeed quite some C reads this year haha. Not so many 5-star reads tho but still 3 so I can’t complain about that at all! I’ve mostly read only great books so far this year in comparison, so that’s great.

Thank you! And great to hear you loved Cinder! Have you read the other books in the series yet? I need to continue asap. And really curious about CoBaB!

Yes I’ve completed the series definitely one of my favourites. Even though Winter was like a 700 page book I read it super quickly.

hahaha omg yes, IKR? It helped a lot though that I stopped blogging for a while. Haven’t blogged from February to mid October so that means I got to read some more. I’ve recently finished reading book #201 :O. But lately my reading pace is really slow so I won’t add that many more to this list this year I think but that’s okay haha. The amount of finished books is unbelievable already at this point, lol.

That’s awesome! I try to balance writing and reading. I write in the morning and read after that, life is something that interrupts all of this. But writing is something that never gets interrupted. My fiancee knows how important that is,

Ahh you’re lucky with your fiancee! My hubby is one of a kind as well and he loves seeing me having fun with the blog and things like that. I’m a stay at home mom nowadays so I can plan in some reading and blog time during the day when Milan’s at school so that’s nice but lately I haven’t gotten around to read a lot, because I’m spending a lot of time on blogging because I want to expand my blog content since I’ve started over fresh mid October so there isn’t a lot of content on here yet.

I try to post at least two things a day everyday. I don’t want to overdo it as I usually tend to do with things.

haha omg yes I know what you mean exactly!! I’m overdoing things a lot all the time and that eventually ends up in me slinking back into a depression. I published 1/2 articles each day except for Saturday atm. But I’m not sure yet if I’m able to maintain publishing 2 articles each day since I have some other personal things I have to work on as well like study and some other stuff so there’ll be less blog time in the nearby future.

This sounds like a fun challenge. I’m super envious of how many 4 and 5 star reads you’ve had even just starting with c.

Its really fun indeed! Feel free to do it yourself as well, I say 😀 And my reading year has been amazing! So many good reads. But I’ve finished 201 books this year, so there are bound to be some great reads among them otherwise it would’ve sucked haha.

This looks like a fun challenge – when I have tried to do the A-Z it was usually 1 per letter and for some reason, all my titles would start with the same letter – and it was usually C. 😉

There are indeed a lot of titles starting with the letter C! I’ve had some more finished books with C but those weren’t 4/5 star reads so I didn’t include them here.
