WHAT HAVE I RECENTLY FINISHED READING?
I recently finished reading All we Want by J. Daniels, which is the 6th book in the Alabama Summer series and it continues the story of two beloved characters we’ve read a book on earlier in the series as well; Luke & Tessa. This series is so so sooo awesome and I can’t recommend them enough to anyone who loves romance, hot AF sex scenes with hot police officers and construction workers but also the presence of beautiful friendships and awesome kiddo’s!
I also finished reading Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare, which was a re-read to me. I already really liked this book the first time around back in 2016 but this second time around I love it even more so. What a fantastic read and great start of this new series in the shadowhunter chronicles <- I can’t get enough of it! Clare’s writing has only gotten better and better throughout the years. This world and these characters mean everything to me, le sigh.

WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?
I’m currently reading an anthology arc I received earlier this month: Seasons of Sorcery by Amanda Bouchet, Jeffe Kennedy, Grace Draven and Jennifer Estep. The 4 stories are set in different worlds and each author approaches another theme that’s revolved around the Seasons. So there’s one for Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. I’m currently reading the second story, a Curse for Spring by Amanda Bouchet, so that means I finished the first one, Winter’s Web by Jennifer Estep and still need to read the Summer and Autumn stories written by Jeffe Kennedy and Grace Draven. I’ll tell you more about this anthology in my upcoming Friday Firsts article that’ll be released in 2 days.

WHAT AM I PLANNING TO READ NEXT?
Up next is Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, the second book in the Dark Artifices trilogy. I’ve talked about the books a couple of times already over the past few weeks. I’m re-reading book 1 and 2 in preparation for the upcoming release of Queen of Air and Darkness. I am loving these re-reads so much and Lady Midnight was even more enjoyable this time around as the first time reading it, so I can’t imagine how Lord of Shadows is going to be like since that book gutted me haha. I’m glad, that when I finish Lord of Shadows, I won’t have to wait another year for book 3 this time, lol.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! I’m really excited to hear about the books you’ve just finished reading, currently reading and planning on reading next. Love to hear from you. Have a nice Wednesday lovelies!
With Love,
Melissa ♥
I just finished Single Dad CEO by Lara Swann. I’m now going to read Clara’s Soldier: A Retelling of the Nutcracker by Brittany Fichter. Next I’m going to read Misadventures with a Professor by Sierra Simone

Single dad CEO sounds like my kind of read! Not sure if I’d be into a nutcracker book yet because I’m not quite familiar with the original story, oops haha. Planning on getting to know it though! And I reaaaally want to start buying and reading the Misadventures series as well. Happy reading!

haha yeah I think her books are great! Can’t get enough of the shadowhunter world, so I definitely recommend reading the books even though it’s quite a commitment if you have to start now with all of the books that have already been published hihi. But totally worth pursuing in my opinion.
