[WISHLIST WEDNESDAY] Christmas Wishlist #1

Putting Wishlists together is maybe just as much fun as buying the book themselves I think. I love discovering new books and add them to my wishlists so I can hopefully buy them in the future. I have many different Wishlists on different webshops like Bol.com, the Bookdepository, and Amazon.

At the moment, there are a couple of 100 books on my wishlists – I kid you not #booknerdissues – and I like to highlight a few of them in my Wishlist Wednesday article that I plan on publishing every week like I did on my other blog as well.

Today I’ll be sharing one of my Christmas wishlists – you read that right; one of… I have like 6 different Christmas wishlists, lol. I’m one of those people who has her Christmas wishlists ready months before December is even in sight yet, lol.

Today’s particular wishlist is one from my Amazon account that I put together for my husband since he always buys me books for Christmas to put under our tree at home. The reason why I have a separate Amazon wishlist is that a lot of books that I want to buy aren’t always available on the book depository or the Dutch webshop I regularly order from – that’s probably because a lot of the Amazon books are books written by self-published authors.

♥ Fallen Academy by Leia Stone (Fallen Academy #1)
Genre: Fantasy/New Adult/Romance/Angels/Demons

40941601Brielle Atwater isn’t sure of much, but she knows a few things:

1. Having black wings is not normal.
2. Selling her soul to the demons was a mistake.
3. Lincoln Grey is the biggest asshole she’s ever met … but not falling in love with him might prove impossible.

When angels fell from the sky to war with the demons that ravaged Earth, their combined powers infected humanity. Now, the humans are assigned one of two fates, being either demon gifted or angel blessed.

After wings sprout from Brielle’s back at her awakening ceremony, she’s sure she’s an angel blessed celestial. It’s not until she sees black wings that she realizes something is terribly wrong.

Having sold her contract at a young age to save her father’s life means she should be bound for Tainted Academy. That is until a fallen angel unexpectedly fights for her to be accepted into Fallen Academy, the elite school for those that inhabit Angel City.

She’s immediately matched with her impossibly handsome celestial teacher, Lincoln Grey. Laying eyes on him, her first thought is that her time at the academy might actually be fun, but this theory quickly fades when she and Lincoln clash on day one. To further prove her admission into Fallen Academy is cursed, the entire school is thrown into chaos when an Abrus demon reveals that he knows Brielle’s secret. Now, above all else, Lincoln must fight to protect her. To his surprise, the only thing more difficult than trying to save her … is trying not to fall for her.

Too bad no one told her Pestilence can’t be killed.

Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her … and hers towards him.

Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. 1. haha yeah, delving into them is so confronting, yikes! I have so many different wish lists, it’s not funny anymore haha. Whenever I buy a new book, I have so much trouble choosing one because there’s just too much books on my wish lists haha but well… I just want them all! lol. And I do have some other buying issues as well, lol; shoes, bags, bookish merchandise.

    1. I keep them separately since I have a lot of books I want to buy but I only add books to my to do/tbr when I got them. But I do have a to be read list on Goodreads on which there are a lot of books I haven’t bought as well, but really want to. There’s really no logic in my system, lol.

    1. Have you read Claimed yet? I loved that one a lot! Story-wise it isn’t really strong and well written but the sexiness in this book is so frigging good! Haven’t often come across a book that was so intense, loved it! Can’t wait to read book 2 and 3. And can’t wait to continue reading the off campus series as well.

Ah great list! To be honest, I had never heard of these books before, haha. I’m also really curious about The Mistake, since I really enjoyed The Deal by Elle Kennedy! I haven’t made a wishlist yet!

    1. the Deal was indeed really enjoyable! Can’t wait to continue reading the other books in the series. I want to own and read them before September ’19 since the author is going to the RARE event in London, so I can choose which ones to bring with me to get signed. I have more Christmas wish lists coming in the next couple of weeks, lol. Had to create multiple; for my husband, family and friends so I thought it would be more comfy for everyone if I made separate lists haha.
