WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme article I love to write. In this article, I’ll tell you about what book(s) I last finished reading, What book(s) I’m currently reading and What I’m planning to read next. I also love to hear what all of your WWW’s are so feel free to leave a reply! Happy Reading!

My reading planning last week went out of the drain, lol. In last week’s WWW article, I showed you some e-books and physical books I wanted to read next. But when I finished reading Becoming Dragon and my Lord of Shadows re-read, I started reading something that wasn’t on any of my asap tbr lists, lol. I’ve finished reading the first two novella’s of Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare. I was so attuned to the world when I finished reading Lord of Shadows, that I couldn’t part with it after a friend of mine told me how good the novella’s were. So I started reading them last week and I’m reading them as in-between-reads. I finished Son of Dawn and Cast long Shadows within a day haha. Loved them so so much!

And then I also finished reading my copy of The Highlander’s Touch by D.K. Combs, which I took with me to Disney in the weekend. This was such an enjoyable read and it gave me all the Outlander feels! D.K. Comb’s writing is one I thoroughly enjoy – I’ve read and loved Atlantis: the King’s return by her so so much as well for example – so I cannot wait to buy and read the next book; the Highlander’s Kiss, hopefully soon.

Several things actually – even though I’m technically not reading all of them at once atm. I’m really having trouble focusing on e-books at the moment. So I started reading #3 of Ghosts of the Shadow Market, every exquisite Thing and I was also still reading the Fantasy anthology Seasons of Sorcery by Amanda Bouchet, Jeffe Kennedy, Jennifer Estep and Grace Draven. But I just can’t seem to get myself hooked on my reader right now so I’ve taken a little brake from these reads, but hope to find the right mood to finish reading them this week.

Before I went to Disney I was feeling like reading a Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir but I didn’t want to take that huge Hardcover with me, so I decided to take another book with me instead, which I started reading after finishing the Highlander’s Touch: a Sorrow Fierce and Falling by Jessica Cluess, #3 and final installment in the Kingdom on Fire trilogy.

Well, if I get around to finish all of my current reads above, I hope to continue reading the Ghosts of the Shadow Market novella, starting with #4; Learn about Loss. Maybe I’ll also pick up a Reaper at the Gates? But it depends on how soon I finish my current reads because we’re a week away from Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare to being released. And when that one arrives, It definitely gets priority above anything else haha. And I’m also kind of praying here that I’ll be receiving an arc of the Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros which will get priority as well.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! I’m really excited to hear about the books you’ve just finished reading, currently reading and planning on reading next. Love to hear from you. Have a nice Wednesday lovelies!

With Love,
Melissa ♥

  1. Soooo I didn’t read Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe yet😅.

My last read was Misadventures with a Speed Demon by Chelle Bliss. I loved it! 4 to go and I finished all the ones out so far, well I counted Country Boy too and that one isn’t out yet but almost. So far I like them a lot or love them, there isn’t one I don’t like.

My current… well I finished that one last night so I didn’t start one yet. I think I finally going to start Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe and my next will be an ARC of Bring me Home by Bree Howland.
