[TOP TEN TUESDAY] Bookish Merchandise I’d Like to Own

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I’D LIKE TO OWN

There are so many book merchandise items I still love to receive and/or buy so I’ve been thinking a lot on what I wanted to ‘do’ with this weeks TTT topic. In the end, I decided to focus on creating a list of 10 book merchandise shops I only recently discovered, haven’t bought anything from yet but really want to haha!

I’ll be writing some other book merchandise articles really soon as well though, because there’s so much more merchandise to gush about and I love promoting my favorite shops – these ‘small’ businesses deserve all the love!

| ByEpikPage – bookmarks for booklovers |

I recently came across this shop when in search of magnetic outlander bookmarks I wanted to buy for a friend of mine’s birthday. I ended up buying them from ByEpikPage because I think the designs of this shop are so cute! I ordered myself 2 bookmarks as well; Jin & Amani from the Rebel of the Sands books by Alwyn Hamilton. Of course, there’s still a lot more I’d love to buy/get from this shop in the future.

This is the #1 shop at the moment, that I want to buy bookmarks from. I love the designs of these bookmarks so so much with all the quotes on them as well as the beautiful artwork of the characters. I’m especially in love with the entire Kingdom of Ash set, the Dark Artifices bookmarks and the Ariël & Eric ones. But there’s also Venom, which looks awesome, and Pokémon which are so cool. Bottom line: I want them all, lol! So this is definitely a shop I really want to buy from in the, hopefully nearby, future.

| BookishStuff – book fandom gifts and merchandise|

To a lot of people who buy merchandise on a regular base, this shop is probably well known already I guess haha. But I’ve only recently came across this shop. I did come across some of the designs already on Instagram and such but never connected the dots, lol. This shop not only sells bookmarks but lots of other awesome merchandise as well like booksleeves, pillow cases, T-shirts and so on. There are so many items I’d love to buy from this shop haha!

| MeganJeongArt – Megan’s bookish shop |

This is a merchandise shop which doesn’t sell a lot of stuff but I I came across it when looking for these specific tarot cards for example. I love all of the designs so so much. There’s this awesome Illuminae tarot card set and an awesome Illuminae bookmark for example that I’d really want to buy someday.

This is a shop that specializes in making booksleeves and mug rugs and what I love most about it is that a lot of these sleeves come with pockets! I hadn’t seen that before – I only own regular ones – and I think it’d come in handy when taking a book with you. You could add a small notebook and pens and such for when you want to write down notes while reading. I just love this so much and I really want to buy some of them in the hopefully nearby future, as well as some of those mug rugs!

Another shop that creates the most amazing bookmarks! I am so in love with the designs of everything! I’d especially love to buy these; the Archeron sisters, Manon blackbeak, Manon witchling wooden bookmark, bookstagram, Velaris, Nehemia and Children of Blood and Bone.

| HavenThornCustoms – custom funko pop |

Over the years, more and more shops popped up who started making custom made funko pops. This shop is one I am so in love with since there are quite a lot of bookish characters made into funko pops. The three in particular I want are Tessa Gray, Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs. I NEED THEM IN MY LIFE. Maybe if I win a lottery, someday, lol.

| VergeOfWisteria – handprinted geeky goods |

This shop sells different items, from pillow cases to Mugs. But the reason I love this shop so much already is because of their awesome T-shirt collection. Even though I don’t really like my body atm I cannot stop wanting these t-shirts haha. Especially the one with the infernal devices quote on it or the ‘Shadowhunter in Training’ one or the Throne of Glass shirts or… you get the picture, lol. Someday, I’ll definitely plan on buying and wearing these shirts.

| BlissfullyBookish – wear what you read |

Another shop that specializes in making bookish t-shirts and I am so in love with them, especially the Throne of Glass and ACOTAR ones. But there are many more fandoms to be found in this shop, so awesome! There are at least 6 designs I’ve come across already that I’d like to own someday haha.

This is a shop that specializes in bookends. Their designs are so awesome! Even though I really don’t have any space on my shelves right now to showcase bookends, I still want to buy them all haha! Especially the Hogwarts one, the Lord of the Rings, the Disney Castle and the Dobby one are very high upon my wishlist!

And as I said before; because I also want to give some love and attention to shops I already bought from, and shops that sell bookish candles in particular for example – since I haven’t shown them in this list – you’ll definitely be seeing more articles on the blog in the nearby future, about book merchandise! 

It looks like bookmarks are the items I look to buy for most of the time haha. I do also love to get candles and booksleeves and such but they are often just way more expensive and since most of the shops aren’t located in the Netherlands there’s the expensive shipping thing so that suuuuucks a lot haha. I can’t wait to buy some of those awesome T-shirts as well!
